What would you do with a million dollars?

National Light The Night Team Friends of Heroes officially surpassed the million dollar mark in fundraising dollars!
With the dedicated support of our donors, walkers, team captains and affiliate teams, Friends of Heroes is well on its way to making a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients.
For every dollar donated, 75 cents is directed towards cutting edge cancer research and patient services that many patients depend on during and after treatment. That amounts to over $750,000 from our team!!!
To celebrate our first million dollars raised, Team Friends of Heroes is hosting a fun drawing. To enter, leave a comment on this post with an answer to the question:

CONGRATULATIONS Friends of Heroes for reaching this major milestone in only 4 years!!! Keep up the incredible work!!!!

Pay off my mortgage, make donations to all my favorite charities (especially LLS) and put the rest is savings for retirement.

Hmmm…well after paying off my home and my cars I would save for my son’s education. Then I would most likely donate to several charities, and most importantly, start a nonprofit of my own. Something to help women with young childre, but in a unique way. It’s always been a dream.

I would pay off my debt, then start my own non-profit. And of course I would donate to my favorite charities. Savings and college are also high on my list!

Let’s see, I would definitely pay off all outstanding bills, then quit working for a while so that I could dedicate more time to fundraising for Light the Night and Friends of Heroes. If I managed to collect what I did working two part time jobs and 13 outside clients and spending six weeks prior to the walk at the hospital almost every day with my mother-in-law, think what I could do raising money full time!!!!!

Hmmm, that is a hard one! i would give 5% to church, 5% to FOH, then buy a new house so I have room to take in a child in need…I think I would keep my house now and rent it out.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, it’s so exciting to even think about! Of course, paying off all my boring bills would be first! I’d help my sister and my best friend buy houses, and set my mom up with a beautiful addition (she lives with me). I’d start college funds for my boys, buy a timeshare in Disney, and if there was enough left over, be a stay at home mom!! Then, while I was home, I’d write a best selling novel (about my experience losing my baby due to severe birth defects) and make millions and start a Heroes for Children type charity for EVERY SINGLE STATE!!
