Affiliate Teams
A Friends of Heroes Affiliate team is a local team honoring an individual or representing a corporation or local club.
Affiliate teams are part of FOH–a National Friends and Family Light The Night team for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Fundraising totals from our affiliate teams are totaled with the funds that all FOH teams, across the United States and Canada, raise each walk season.
Together, we can secure a pediatric blood cancer research grant when our total meets or exceeds $100,000. As of 2008, Friends of Heroes has achieved four grant naming opportunities bestowed by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
